explorer motor swap

I have a 02 explorer with a bad motor 4.0 sohc ,I have opportunity to buy a 05 4.0sohc low miles both flex fuel..was there any changed i would need to know about both motors are flex fuel motors Thanks

im not sure myself get the vin off of the 05 motor if you can and call the ford dealer with your vin and see if its the same motor. good luck

You could also check with almost any salvage yard as they have the interchange listings in their computer. It helps them to sell their stuff.
