EDIS Module (Ignition Controle Module) Location

My '93 Ranger 4x4 Extended Cab 4.0L is giving me big problems. Now, I am getting a code that says that the EDIS Module (Ignition Controle Module) has a problem with coil #3. I want to replace it, but can not find the module. I have a Haynes Manual that says that it is connected to the radiator support. It is not there. My Chilton Manual says the same thing. I went to Ford and got a print out that says that it is behind the battery. It isn't there either.
I have changed the fuel pump (only reading 20 psi), the Mass Air (Low voltage), and the fuel filter. I also cleaned the throttle body, and tried a new coil pack. The truck cuts out under most any kind of load. It was stalling out before I could even get out of the driveway before I did the above. All advice is very welcome. Can someone help me locate the EDIS module? Thanks in advance. <o></o>

My 91 Ranger Factory Manual shows the EDIS ignition module for the 4.0 engine mounted on the engine side of the front radiator support panel between the passenger side front fender and the radiator. According the the directions you first need to remove the battery as the module is mounted as indicated above and in front of the battery.

This may also be the case for your 93 model.
