Ford Canopy slider Question
Bought a Ford factory canopy, it was missing the front slider, picked one up from a 1979 F150. I was told it would fit the canopy and I should flip it around to install so the latch could be opened up from inside the truck is this correct? It will fit the canopy same gasket and all?

Yes, I had a Deluxe canopy on my '77, and the slider was identical to the one on the truck. I also had a blow-up donut, that went around the windows so you could have an airtight pass-thru. Didn't use the donut on a regular basis, because it would wear the paint of the cab as the truck flexed.
