302 vacuum tree on intake

I have a vacuum tree like this one pictured from my old engine.

I also have an aftermarket intake manifold with no stamping on it so I dont know what it is. As for the tree, I can't seem to find a hole that will take it and I'm curious if I have any other options for my brake booster.

Hooking into the carb is out of the question. PCV is hooked up there.

What aftermarket intake do you have ?

There should be a 1/2" hole at the back of it for this part.

I'm not sure which I have. It's just polished with no name or part numbers & it came with the motor. There are several plugs, but they all look the same size, but I will have to unscrew them all and try again.

I'm looking for a vacuum tree for my 1977 302 intake. It has five ports; the largest on the end, two smaller on one side, and two more yet smaller on the other side. Can anyone help me find one? GaryAdams10@bellsouth.net

EDIT: Sorry guys, I just realized I responded to the original post. I thought it sounded familiar. You should start a new thread if you have a new question...anyway, welcome to FTE.

Most intake manifolds should have a 1/4" or 3/8" NPT fitting that sources manifold vacuum. They're not very useful without one. Check it over; it may be closed off with
a pipe plug. Once you find it, if it's the same thread size as your vacuum tree, you can run it in there and plug off the unused ports. Or, if all you need is the brake booster, you can install a barbed hose fitting in the port of the correct thread size, and connect your booster vacuum there.

Here's a picture of my straight 6. My Offenhauser intake came with 2 threaded ports; I believe one was 1/4" and the other 3/8" NPT. They're under the carburetor on the passenger side. I've plugged off the 1/4" with a pipe plug; I've installed a barbed hose fitting to the other one which runs the brake booster. The brake booster hose should be 11/32" or 3/8". It's hard to find 11/32", but I've found 3/8" to work just fine in its place.
