BETTER PULL!
I have a 93 F150 XL 4X4 4.9 with the mazda M5R2. We have an older 2 horse trailer that a little heavy! Is there another trans that can be swaped out that has a granny gear? And would this trans have any problems to look out for? And is it a direct swap or would I need extra parts? thank you.

the ZF trans is the 5 speed you want for pulling, 1st being granny gear... as far as i am aware it is a straight swap aside from possibly driveshafts, does yours have the internal or external slave, if internal then you should be able to use it.. but the only downfall is good luck finding a ZF from the way everyone else speaks of it, i got lucky and got one in the truck when i bought it
