So after lowering my truck a bit I found out that one of my leaf springs is cracked. And it happened to be the top leaf that attaches to the shackles. So my question is are the leaf springs (top ones) the same on any newer f150's? So I can fine one in a junk yard?
When looking for a new one you must make sure to measure the length and width of the spring to ensure you have the right one.
Years 80-96 should be interchangable. Make sure that if you have a 4wd you get it from a 4wd. If you have a f-100 you can get it from a f-150 but you must make sure its a 2wd.
Tell us what your truck is and we can help a bit more.
