i dont know if this will take off or not but its about people with there slicks who still use them as work trucks with loads in them. i dont have any pictures of ours with a load but last weekend we hauled about 50 alum. rims into the junk yard. but yeah, lets try and get this goin' and sorry about the title
When the fan starts rubbing you know the truck & trailer are full... :-) That 300/6 is a bear..
better not load that up too much more, i remember back in the day, my uncle told me in there 74' f250 they had (ol' blue) they had over like 3ton of wood in the back and blew out both back tires. hahaha.
I dont have no pics of my 64 loaded but I can tell you some of the stuff I have hauled.
A cord of split elm in the LWB truck.
A bunk of drywall.
A half bunk of plywood and towed a 3000lb job trailer when I was framing.
I have never had any issue with the power or gearing. My 292 will shake down alot of new trucks. She sits on the OL springs and then makes the tires fat! Disc brakes are in order though. I dont trust the single circuit drums that much. Now my 64 is my heavy hauler as Im selling my 85 F150 as I bought a 96 SWB.
GRM61- I wnat your truck. I wish the wifey would let me get a F550!
MsMichelle-You are cooler than my wife! Just please dont tell her that.
