Fill it with oil and a fresh filter. Then see if you can prime the pump. Most oil pumps can be primed with a shaft put down thru the distributor hole to turn the pump with a hand drill.
Take a look at the end of the distributor shaft to see what kind of shaft you will need. Most seem to be hex.
Once it is primed I would turn it by hand to make sure things are not frozen(unlikely).
Alternatively you could just fire it up and hope there is enough oil on all the surfaces. If you used good oil, this is a fair possibility.
