I'm new! I love my new 2010 F150 XLT Super Crew 4x4. However, the mirrors are larger than any truck that I have driven before...already replaced the passenger side thanks to the Mrs. and an atm machine
I had to switch my wife garage doors the tow mirrors would not fit in the 9x9 door. I love them cause you can see everything but I just replaced them for the littler ones.
Your truck is bad@ss!!! The leveling kit is perfect, too.
Thanks, I couldn't decide when I first did it if I needed to go up alittle in the rear. (it's dead even) I like to have alittle rack it will work for now.
I also got the tow mirrors on my new 2010 Lariat and they are great but what a pain to try and squeeze through the bank drive-thru and other tight places!
If you were closer I would trade you. I had the bigger mirrors on the old F250 and I miss them. These are OK I guess but I'd prefer the larger ones- just personal preference I guess. Welcome to FTE also!
Maybe post an ad in the classifieds- I don't know if there is a restriction on how many posts you need before you can do that though. Try it and see. Sorry to the OP for the hijack!
My KR has the larger tow mirrors and I love them. Yes, they need to be folded when going in the garage or bank lanes. The up side is there is zero dead zones and they make parking trailers and backing up much easier. Can't imagine owning truck without them.
I really miss my mirrors from my SD. I would put the larger mirrors on this KR if I had some. Also have to love the power fold option
I would not have traded if I would have had the power fold. They should have that as standard equipment with mirrors that big. My 2cents on the big mirrors
