Strange start problem
01 excursion 7.3L, just recently sometimes when go to start it the lights on the dash go away, exept the theft that flashes rapidly and kind of dim, and there is a rapid ticking that is coming from the fuse panel, either relay 1 or 2, but when you step on the break the ticking stops but still no start. Keep trying it and it will finally start normal. Kind of seems like possible bad ground that intermittently needs to arc through to establish the ground. This seem correct or another possible problem? I know electrical is hard to find. Thanks for any help.

Not that old a little over 2.5 years. They have tested good with the hydrometer and hold voltage. I am leaning more towards an iffy ground somewhere. Hopefully someone has a list or diagram of where the grounds are to save time looking or missing one.
