2011 Super Duty

We recently purchased a 2011 F350 Lariat Longbed 4x4. We got the truck loaded with every feature. It is a great truck. Has anyone experienced and issues with the new super duty yet?

There have been a couple of report problems dealing with the shipment of the trucks.

Rail head people put chains around the DEF lines that run along the frames.

Don't think there has been too much as far as issues yet. go a little farther down the page to the diesel area and there is a link to the 6.7 boards.

I BOUGHT 2011 F350 DIESEL VIN 1FT7W3BT3BEA01851 4100 MILES. USED 5 QTS OIL IN 4000 MILES, TRANS. STUTTERS RAPIDLY AT TIMES LOUSY MILEAGE. 8 MPG TOWING, 16 AT 55 MPH LEVEL EMPTY ON CRUISE WITH 3.31 GEARS. CANT GET PARTS BEEN IN SERVICE SINCE 6-30-10 . REAR SEAL LEAKS. INSTALLED WRONG. ASKED FOR NEW CRATE ENG. FORD REFUSED, ASKED FOR INCREASE IN WARRANTY MILES WITHOUT TIME LIMIT, FORD REFUSED. SO AFTER THEY REBUILD THE ENGINE SOMEDAY, I WILL HAVE A $55,000 NEW TRUCK WITH REBUILT ENG. THAT WILL PROBABLY STILL LEAK OIL. TO ANYBODY CONSIDERING "DO NOT BUY A 2011 FORD TRUCK WITH DIESEL ENG & NEW TRANS."

Thats either the saddest story i've ever heard, or the biggest load of bull**** ever. give us some evidence, like photos of the truck stripped down. not a retarted paragraph.

kinda hard to believe with only 1 post as well. We would like to see some pics of the tear down.

You'd think someone with that many problems in a new truck would be doing some research on lemon laws instead of just complaining about his truck.

I still think it smells and is mean't to stir the pot. Not gonna work. I agree it is that bad they would not even be here. They would of (I would) just dropped it off and gave them the keys back.

I have a 2011 F-250 6.7 Lariat ... no problem up to now.

I don't think we will see a lot of troubles with the new SD. Ford can't make anymore mistake. They decided to build their own engine and transmission because of all the problems they had with Navistar. If they fail, people will switch to Dodge & GM.

Look at his screen mane. 2HD H2 That's clearly code for 2 Chevy Heavy Dutys and 1 H2 Hummer. I could be wrong but I don't think so.

BTW: I thought the Oil Pan and Trans Cover or something like that was the same part. No way to have a rear seal leak.
