Holy crud.....when did gear lube get so expensive....

I just paid 18 bucks a bottle for mobil 1 synthetic 75w-140......

Yeah, I had that same WOOOOOAAAA reaction when I had my GF pick up 3 bottles for me, and it was about 60 bucks! Wow...

The lube is cheap. The word "synthetic" is not. Same issue I had last year when changing the differential fluids. ~$100 for one differential!

Hum.... I thought I made out when I replaced both my axle seals, lube and modifier for $67!!

Twinsdad98, did you use synthetic as recommended? What brand/type lube did you use? Include friction modifier (assuming LS diff)?
