Jason, elaborate please. Things changed how? For the better or worse? I'm on Schaeffers 5w40 also. Haven't done a UOA, but have the kit from Blackstone and am thinking of doing it on this next change.

I'm pretty sure he means that things changed for the better, like running your oil for 12K.

I would also like to know since I am running the same oil and have about 6K miles on it. The oil still looks and smells clean. No OA done either.
