Sorry if the delay ive only just got round to buying a new code reader. There are no codes even when the light is on so im not sure what the trouble is.

YES, there ARE codes present.............
Its just that the POS code reader you bought cant read them. IDS only, and I will bet dollars that it will be eot code.

Ive still not had time to go to fords,but what ive found if i dont switch the air con on the light doesnt come on. Its a funny one !!!

The longer you drive it, the more potential damage you are doing.
