The f5 has to be shipped back to dp when you want new tunes. tHe f6 can be programmed in the truck without removing it. You just need an email address and a laptop. It's well worth the extra money for the f6. Jody will even let you "borrow" some tunes to try out before you purchase them.
For towing 5k you can run the 60tow or the 80tow. I personally tow my race car with the 80e tune and it loves it. I only use the 60t when I'm hauling equipment so that it holds the gear like it should.

ok.. thanks for the input.. i think ill save a bunch of cash and get the f5.. ill just have to put some thought into my tunes. and ill stick to the safer stuff cause im looking for another half million miles out for this engine. plus these engines are not ment to be race motors like people turn them into. if i want a really fast car ill go spend 65k on a gt500kr..mmmm! lol. and smmoke everyone haha

really the settings everyone loves, are the 60t, 80e and the 120r. The transmission shifts great and even the 80e turns the truck into something else. The 120r is OMG awesome. you only use that once in a while, but its darn fun to ruin some kids day when he wants to race. I tow under 6k in 80e when not in a lot of hills, egt stays fine. 60t is great for holding a gear and shifting at the right times with lock/unlock tq converter to make accelerating very smooth and quick.
