Transmission Help

Ok heres my deal. I have a 1999 E150 Econoline w/ a 4.6L V8, it has a bad transmission that needs to be rebuilt. I found a used transmission out of a 02 f150 5.4L V8. I know its a 4r70w out of the truck and best I can figure thats what I have in my van. So my question is would the transmission out of the truck bolt right up and work in my van? Any help would be great, I dont want to buy a used tranny and be screwed because its not compatible. Thanks

Oh yeah the guy says it has the "truck/van torque converter" and he says its a good fit, but not sure I can just trust the guy selling it of craigslist

Or would I be better off just having it rebuilt, albeit more than 2x as much $$$
