Engine Vibration
It started when I was driving down the highway at about 70 mph, and it started making a "ticking" sound. This went away after about 30 seconds, but it still felt like it was idling rough. At a slower RPM, (1500) it got even worse. It almost feels like it is running shy of 8 cylinders?? Since getting it home it seems like it is taking longer to start as well.
Could this be an injector problem? Any thoughts would be greatly appreciated.
Recently my 1999 7.3 Powerstroke started vibrating hard at various RPM's.

Check your fuel filter.
Check your air filter.
Check for any obvious fuel leaks....or where air could possibly enter the system.
I don't know your model particularly, but I pulled the torque convertor dust cover off of mine and things were floppin' around big time. I still have days when Id like to trash the slimeball I purchased the (used) truck from. Hopefully someone has paid him back for me.
