Bestop Powerboard?

I think that these are the same exact thing as the amp research steps. I found that right now at 4wheel parts you can get them shipped for $930. Can someone verify that they are the same before I order. Thanks

Bestop PowerBoards use the same patents and technology, and they're very similar.

Bestop distributed the AMP steps for several years, but has always had the rights to make them directly - which we are now doing. Actually, we've been doing it for OEM companies for several years, just selling them aftermarket now.

Most of the differences are more important to the people who install them: one motor for all the different Boards, integrated light kit, OEM-mandated testing.

BestopPowerBoard.com if you want to see the video explaining them. And there's a $100 rebate going on right now.

Sorry I don't. wish I had a dozen sets at the price I paid. I snatched that one set I had off craigslist locally for $300 with the sole intent to resell.

It's ok. I ended up ordering the steps. Came out to just over $1000 and it came with a $100 mail in rebate. They should be here today so I'll have them on tonight. Can't wait.

So the steps are on. Total time took about 5 hours. The hardest part was locating the door ajar wires on the driver's side. It was hard to find the right one cause there are 2 of the same colored wires for both the drivers door and drivers passenger door. So I had to trace them all the way to the door latch. Other then that it went well. The wiring loom they send is awesome. It is also prewired for lights, which I decided not to use at this time. I also like that these are painted with textured type paint. My buddy has the amp research ones and I don't remember them being that way. Anyways no install pics.

Lights that I didn't put on
