ok guys (craigslist adds)

its cool that you all are linking these for sale adds and posting them up here but its getting a little out of control.i probably shouldnt even allow them at all i will continue to let them be but can you guys slack on them some.we have like 4 of these posts on the first page right now.thanks guys

ya, i was thinking the same thing, but its great for people looking. thats why i had suggested one thread for them all.

How about a sticky for craigslist adds and delete them after 7 days and dont allow/delete replies to adds? might be more hassle than it's worth but would keep a lot of 'junk' out of the forum.

Personally, I don't see what the big deal about it is unless members are posting their own ads then they should pay for it not everyone!

I like the postings, they educate (we pick them apart), they promote board usage, IB should love that.

If peeps would include "Craigslist truck" or "eBay truck" in the title those that don't care can easily ignore them.

Gawd I hate rules, yet understand the need for them!

I'm with festus. Make it obvious that they're craigslist ads.

Also, if it's one person posting several, that can be one thread instead of several individual threads.

But don't take away our craigslist linking!

The thing I like about individual threads is after we pick them apart they go away ... no more new posts, they don't get cluttered with multiple trucks, more search data from our picking them apart for specific trucks, not a cluster ____ of a jumble of trucks!
