Sounds like U-Joints but could also be clutch's in the rearend. Clutch's would really be noticeable when turning left and accelerating and when you first take off. Unless U-Joints are really bad they're not as noticeable on easy takeoffs, moreso on hard.
I have an 03 F150 and I started having similar problems a while back. For a few months, I noticed my truck would kind of "jump" when I was accelerating, but it only did it every once in a while. A few days ago though, I was on the highway trying to speed up and around 50 mph it started shaking pretty bad. I let off, tried to speed up again, and it shook again. So I let someone else drive it and they think it's transmission problems. It didn't shake as bad, but they said it's slipping in 3rd gear. I'm probably going to take it in tomorrow
Sounds like torque converter shudder to me. These trucks were notorious for it.
I had to look that up and now I know what that feeling was when I was a kid. A delivery place I worked had a Dodge Dakota that would shake at highway speeds, especially between 3rd and 4th gear. I bet it was the TC.
Does it do it while taking off from a stop under steady acceleration in a straight line? I say straight line to eliminate the chance of shudder from the LS unit...

Thank you for the suggestion. I also use this idea for my truck and it works. thanks again for your post.
I have determined that it is the engine missing now. Its very weird. I have been around these motors/trannys for 10 years now. I know my way around for the most part.
Haven t had these issues yet without a CEL. Im thinking its gotta be a plug/plugwire/ or coil pack. Well just see. Like i said, theres now CEL. no codes.
