Went and picked up another 56 Friday in Perrysburg Ohio. Nice bed and a few other goodies!
Truckrod,
I went and looked at the 56 you told me about and there is a 53-55 big job in the back at the same place. Nobody home but I have contact info from the next door neighbor. With the leaves on the trees it is very hard to find!
My wife and I are still laughing when you pulled out of the drive yesterday, I cant believe you grabbed a hand full of second in the green unibody! I guess it is MEAN!
How did you like the truck we bought for our oldest daughter? She LOVES IT!

I am from Ohio, kinda wondering what I had to do to become a chapter member?
Btw walford, love ur sig as I am a "junkyard man". Going tommorrow lol. Scored a d60 last weekend!! off to find a coilspring for a 79 bronc and a "u-bolt plate" for my 60. Btw, anyone kno if a "plate" off a 70's truck will work with a 90's truck?

Yea, I got really lucky. Give $400 for it, and it's a ball joint d60 out of a 93 f350. Needs new balljoints, rod ends, one caster/camber bushing, lockout hubs (also had to get hubs & spindles from a d50), and a really good cleaning! It was disassembled and most of the parts were laying in the bed. Fortunately, looks like the diff (pulled the cover to check) is still in good shape, no water damage to speak of despite the shafts being pulled. Also has 4.10's and I was lucky enough to scored all the hardware and bracketry sans a u-bolt plate and a drag link (well, actually did get it, but it got pirated for my d44 sas for my 85 bronco).
