2011 axle ratio

What the best axle ratio for a 2011 F350 DRW when you pull a heavy trailer?Use to be 4:10 or 3:73.the rule still apply?

I heard that with the new 6 speed trans.you don't need a high ratio axle.

2011 F350 SRW truck, 6.7 PSD with 3.55 gearing is rated at 23500 GCVW. Mine pulls the 13000 pound Big Horn like it is not even back there. The 6 speed trans takes care of the power transfer, you just drive.
