My truck has a daily weight of 12,000 lbs and I put on the Nitto Dura Grapler with Durabelt and LOVE them.
They helped a LOT with the handling of the truck and are wearing good. I have about 10k on them now
I put Michelin ATX m/s2 LRE 245/75/17 on my dually.. 70,000 mile warranty.. internal bead balanced, and smooth as glass.. great tread.. I have a 4x2, so no offroad.
think I paid $250/tire installed, certs at Discount Tire. (bead balancing $15/wheel at local truck tire place)
is there anyone else who is using the nitto dura grapler tires. I am thinking about putting on those tires but I have never heard of the company before and just wanted to see how people liked them. I looked on there website they look like they a good tire.
I have the Nitto Dura Grappler tires. I also carry a lot of weight and these tires do everything I ask of them. They are a highway tire and have excellent traction in wet weather. Because of their design they wouldn't be very good off road(dirt trails would be ok) but you can't buy a better tire for the highway.
