Will they fit?
donor truck is a 1965 f250 2wd:
6 bolt front bumper (3 holes on each side of the bumper)
valence (metal behind front bumper)
radiator support
doors
Thanks
Core support...it SOUND like donor truck isnt a 65...twin I Beam coil spring front suspension for one...Cab on 2WD will have different step up area compared to 61-4 2WD, steering column on 65 is angled upward more into the lower dash where theres a curved area stamped into dash itself...61-4 the column itself is totally clear of the dash and has a filler panel between the dash itself and the column, bottom of the dash is straight across in column area.
Radiator support...65-6 have angled fender aprons on the 2WD models as well as 66 F100 4WD, all other models F100-350 2 or 4WD have curved fender aprons. 65 and 66 core supports for 2WD are different of each other...battery tray, radiator mounting...thats easily remedied though by swapping radiator brackets. 61-4 type core support is reproduced..a foreign made part though.
Valance panel...65 and 6 is different then 64 as 64 has no cutouts to accomodate the frame horn differences made in 1965 model trucks.
Doors...direct bolt ons as long as the body line is not straight, but has the kickup around the vent window area...they will all bolt on, but straight line doors were used on the integral bodied truck made from 61-3 only...
Check the trucks VIN...on top passenger side frame rail about 12 inches in front of the engine crossmember...Ive heard also of California trucks having the VIN stamped on the engine crossmember front and center... 1965 VIN ser. number will be 580,001 through 732,000, 1964 is 445,001 through 580,000, 1963 is 325,001 to 445,000, 1962 is 205,001 to 325,000...these numbers are used to determine the build date of the truck as well. If the doors are original, 64-6 the warranty plate will be on drivers door rear face above the latch. earlier trucks will be on the inside of glovebox door.

Integral body trucks have doors that have a 7/8" fall in the body line front to rear. The dog leg in regular doors eliminates this and provides a paralell or straight body line. Slightly backwards. Also early hinges are fine thread and the later will be course thread so get the correct bolts.
A early lower stone guard will work fine on a later truck as will a later work on an early truck. The bolt holes for the grill are more verses the later 64 up. Later hinges will not fit in to early pockets without modifications to the opening for the hold open spring.
Easiest way to tell if the donor is a 63 or 64 is just look in the bay and if its rounded aprons its a 64 down. Unless it is a four wheel drive.
All 64s have bumpers with 2 bolts form the factory. It is a unknown if it was modified between new and now.

The donor is a 1965 F250 for sure.
The donor is a 1965 F250 for sure.
The bumpers for 1961/63's have a three bolt tri-angular shaped pattern on them.
No 1964/66 front bumper has three mounting bolts per side, all use two bolts.
Post the VIN...and compare what you find on the registration, what's on the Warranty Plate with the frame VIN to see if they match.

Where are the parking lights located on a 1961/64? Mounted to the grille.
Where are the parking lights located on a 1965/66? Mounted to the upper grille panel.
The way I see it, you have two choices:
1) Use the upper grille panel/parking lights and etc from a 1965/66, or...
2) FTE member Gangstakr has a 1966 grille on his 1964 using the original '64 upper grille panel. He made up some parking lights that fit behind the grille. You could do something similar.
