Mileage Question
Hey everyone,
Purchased the DP tuner with the 80HP E tune.
My question is would I have been better buying the 60HP Economy tune for better mileage?
My mileage didnt get any better around town, I was getting around 14 mpg stock and that is what I am getting now.
Any suggestions? I did the 6637 Mod, but have left the exhaust stock for now.

Mine stayed about the same too The 80 did get better milage on long trips though I havn't really used the 60 econ tune much I know I did get better milage with the 120 tune around town. It's kinda wierd but my truck gets better milage when it's working hard I get better milage goin over the passes and stuff then I do on a long flat strait away like I-5 And usually im easy on it on the highway when im pullin the pass im givin it hell this is with not towing anything by the way.

This was my experience,
6637 I got a tad better MPG, but this was watching everything, doing the math, and taking the average from there. I got my biggest improvement with the DP and 4" exhaust, but it was only seen on the expressway.
I have 2 reasons for this, I have a traffic light every half mile (this is no bull ). I use the throttle for every light a little more then I should. But I didnt change my driving habbits, so I dont know that this had that much of an effect.
