need help!! distributor problem
gettin fuel i dont understand it...
I'd start over by making sure you're on the compression stroke. Don't back the engine up to get there. You want all of the slack out of the timing chain. Then with the crank set to about 10° advanced, turn the distributor with the key on from a retarded position toward advanced until the coil fires. Snug the distributor down so it won't turn on its own and put the cap etc. back on. This should get you close enough to fire.

2 pull no 1 spark plug
3 put thumb over #1 spark plug hole
4 rotate engine till compression pushes your thumb off and stop
5 your now on compression stroke
6 put dist. in hole with rotor pointing at no. 1 tower
7 set dist down in make shure rotor is facing no 1
8 snug down dist just enough to turn it
9 hook up everything and your ready to start!!!
