Code readers?

What are you guys using for code readers? HF ones any good?

IMHO and many on here. Get an autoenginuity with the ford enhancements. It is awesome. A little high (about $300 IIRC) but you get what you pay for.

Man texans you are quick on the draw today. The price of AE is pretty well fixed, but I have it with 4 licenses(enhancements) and it has already paid for itself in code reading alone. In fact, I just had it hooked up to the ole ball n chain's MDX. She thought it was missing. Of course, while she was out there I had to turn on everything with the actuation commands that were available for that vehicle. Boy she wasn't happy about that.

I use an IDS.. I think it may be better then the AE too.

You can go better then AE, but AE is great for people on a budget or just the motivated DIYer. IDS, PT DIAG and the like are something totally different.
