I'm unemployed until school starts again in the fall. So for money I've been flipping vehicles. This means I'm going to the local junkyard two or three times a week, and there's usually an IDI or two to be found. Mostly 80-90, although there is one '94 right now that will be crushed soon.
Anyway, if anyone here is looking for a specific part, let me know and i'll make a list. For instance, I just found a return-T bracket off of a 7.3 for Festus, and there was no charge for it.
A month ago I was out there and counted four IDIs. One of them had been in a fire and the rest all had the IPs pulled already, but there are many smaller parts to be found.
I won't ask for time compensation unless it takes me a while to pull it. I'm just looking to help you guys out if i can.
Hi, I am looking for some Vacuum restrictors for my 1985 ford f250 truck with a 460 eng in it, they look like a vacuum hose splice, and are different colors, i think the blue one is what i need, they are called a V REST ( for vacuum restrictor) on the vacuum flow chart under the hood, the red ones are obsolete, they are on the vacuum valves at the thermostate housing, and there is one going to the EGR Valve, pick me up a few, vacume restrictor if you can, and i will pay you for your time and trouble, thank you, Chellie
info from FTE below,
I have an '83 F350 with the 7.5L. According to my emissions manual the basic part # is 12A225. They come in four sizes: .015" (blue), .020" (red), .024" (orange), and .030" (yellow). Mine has the yellow one. Lots of Ford products use different versions of these in many vacuum functions. If you can't find new ones go to a junkyard and get several to try or get one and drill out to right diameter.
I need Front Dana 60 spindles, at least one caliper bracket (not sure if there's a left and right side? if so not sure which side I have) and a C6 lower torque converter cover. Two C6 diesel transmissions and I have 0 lower covers.
Sterling 10.25 yoke. Or if the price is right the whole rearend in good shape with 3.55 gears. If you find a turbo laying around for a good price I'll consider that too.
It'd be a hike but I might pull a trailer half way to that 6.9 not running truck if the seller agrees. I could make all the money back and then some. Fingers crossed.
Find any Dually lug nuts like these
I'll take 8 ... They take a 1-1/16" socket to get them off, they are supposed to be torqued to 140 ft lbs... Might be some work getting em off, Those are from a '91 F350.
Lemonshindig, I know I've said it multiple times privately but it deserves to be said publicly!
THANK YOU very very much!!!
-Enjoy

Ya hit the nail on the head with that statement!! Wish I had enough jy's around here with diesels to do something like that. Oh and remove the border bull**** with shipping. Then we'd be good, lol. Thanks from me too bro!!
