Late 99-03. But any IDM can be modded to 140v. Hope that's what you're asking.

you could have stuck this in the IDM info thread.

I think Rog just wanted more attention

I think they started the 120's in 99/2000

99.5-2003 haved the 120 volt IDM IIRC. I got my spare out of an early 99 (or so the guy said) and it is a 110 volt. I've seen a few good deals on IDMs on ebay of late. I'm sending the spare to Swamps for there mods. Chase (Superduty4X4) might know for sure. He had an early 99.

I'm always up for a cheap spare IDM. A good working cheap spare IDM that is.

Well William, you are right I could have done that but I am short on time and I am looking for a specific, factual answer not a thought or guess as you have given. That said, thank you for your analysis and input.

William, I profusely apologize if I came off as mean, it was not my intent. My intent was to be a "Smart ***" not mean.

As I understand OBS had 90 or 100v IDM. Early 99 SD had 110v IDM. Late 99-03 SD had 120v IDM. These are the facts as I know them. Whether or not they are correct or not remains to be determined

I don't think there was a 90 volt.

I can't find anything saying a 90 volt IDM.

100, 110, 115, and 120.

only reason i'm throwing in 115, is thats what mine says on it.

My stock 1997 Cali PSD came with a 100V IDM. This is the one I modded to 140V.
