new cab mounts
Has anyone fabricated new cab mounts for 1965/66 F100's? I know suppliers invest time and money making these but they still seem rather pricey for what they are. Apparently uni-body guys must make their own mounts and just wondering if anyone else has done the same for the early twin I beam trucks. A friend is in the rubber supply/gasket business and may be able to help with material. Thanks in advance. Lefty

If you are talking about the steel cab mounts, I would buy the reproductions, or get them from a donor cab. Easily found...the same through 1972 if Im not mistaken for 2WD conventional cab trucks(non integral bodied) The integral bodies trucks...I would again, get them or it from a donor...
If you are meaning the rubber insulators, I would again, get the reproduction insulator kit.
It just makes things faster and easier all around IMO.
