'93 Tailgate
Well I went and bought the F-250 (Styleside) I was looking at. Someone had stolen the tailgate and I knew I would be in for some bucks for a new one. I figure the Ford tailgate to be around $800 with all hardware and the trim panels etc. I have also thought of buying aftermarket, has anyone tried those? Are they flimsy or not too bad. Also, the boneyards around the Salt Lake Valley just laugh when I call. Are they that scarce everywhere?
Which years will fit my truck?
Any suggestions would be greatly apprecaited

I think '87-96 will fit, but yes, they are THAT scarce. A junkyard is definitely the place to get them because I've never heard a good word about an aftermarket pickup t/g. There are several online used parts services, like US Trader & U Need a Part, and several national 800 numbers, like LKQ.
