Close to done

after 19 months I finally took it for it's maiden voyage. Needs a major front end alignment, stereo and a few nick nacks.

Nice looking truck, and more "done" than many ten-year projects (including mine!). Listen to the engine, it's better than a stereo!

Very nice truck. Also, your dad would be very proud of you and the truck. Good job. Was this his truck by chance.

That's super!

But ya know, there's a rule that says when you are close to being done with a truck, you have to buy another one to fix up!

It's absolutely true! So, what's next!

Thanks for the compliments. No, it wasn't my dad's truck, he would ask me about it everytime we had a chance to talk. He was the one who got me interested in Ford trucks. He bought my first (1968 f100) for me, but before I could drive it I had to get a JOB and pay him back. Dad and I spent alot of time fixin' it so it was road worthy. That truck was a true rust bucket and I spent many hours slapin' bondo over rust holes. Time flys by and before you know it you have kids and no time for trucks or hobbies. Now that the kids are grown I have some time for my hobbie. btw Julie, the next "project" is a 55 second series Ch@#y that I got in N.Dakota. That was a one owner and still had the original 1955 title !!
