I finaly got the old girl sitting a little lower. I used the DJM kit, might have to do something with the back, I like the look of the front a little lower, but I'd like the back to come down about another inch or so. But hey, I'm happy with it for now. Sorry about the pics, the batterys in my camra were ded, so i took them with my phone.
How do you like your peep mirrors? I put a set on my truck but they are not very functional. Its hard to see out of them, especially the passenger side. They do look nice though.

I only have the one on the drivers side, but just what you said. You can't see squat out of them, but I love the look.
Looks awesome! They are right about the back, but it still looks good though! Once you get it lowered in the back (or now); put those other hubcaps you tried on it before and it may look pretty sweet and old skool! IMO.
Does your 74 have the twin i beam set up? I have a 77 and want two lower it,but I just can't see spending $800 for dream beams or what ever.
But she looks good man!
I put the 2" lowering shackles under the rear of my 79 but it only lowered my truck less than an inch. Just dont want to spend the other $120 for the hangers to drop it another 2". Wonder if it will hurt my spring if I take out my lowest leaf

Thanks. Yes it does, and thats what took me so long to do it, I was dreding spending the money. But it was worth it.
Its supose to be a 3in drop in the back, but I don't think it went down 3 inches. The front went down real nice though. I am gonna have to drop the back another inch or so, it looks good, but its driving me nuts.
