Calling all NRA members...
I have been a Life member of the NRA since 1984...how many of you are members out there? If you own firearms and are not a member you should be! There are 4 million members of the NRA fighting for an estimated 60-80 MILLION gun owners! Lets get off that fence and join up. For you that are in the NRA....I salute you my brothers in arms! www.mynra.org

Calling all NRA members...
I would also suggest you join your State's equivelant organization. Here it is TSRA...Texas State Rifle Association.... They usually do a lot for your individual gun rights in your state legislature. (They helped get our CCW laws passed here.)

was a member for 2 years, its too expensive for a poor college kid like myself tho

Calling all NRA members...
Have been with the NRA for 24 years...I am currently jumping through hoops with the NRA to "assume" my deceased father's lifetime status. It can be done, just alot of red-tape.
I have also been a member of the Women of the NRA for the last several years.
I voted with the Sisters of the 2nd Amendment on their petition to "keep our guns", am still an Avid hunter, large & small game.
Taught my daughter to shoot when she was young, now at 30 she is a marksman, like me. Am waiting for my 5 yo grandson (her son) to mature enough to "responsibly handle & learn firearms safety", so that I can take him hunting with me.
I believe in keeping it in the family & that responsible knowledge is the key to gun safety.

i am from missouri and i have not heard of a state militia. if anybody know about one here in the "show me state" id appreciate some info.

Calling all NRA members...
Endowment Member of both the NRA and Texas State Rifle Association. Also life member North American Hunting Club. Texas Concealed Handgun Instructor, too. I never miss an opportunity to vote and I check my state association recomendations before I do vote. I have a hard time dividing my interests and money between the guns and the cars or trucks. If we don't fight for our rights, they will be taken away, then only criminals will own guns.

I have been a proud NRA member for 10+ yrs.
Nebr.is concidering concealed carry in the legislature now, I think I had better write my state senator.
I told my wife that I will not spend a penney of my hard earned money on anything by George Clooney!! No movies, tapes, DVD, I refuse to watch anything by him or his ilk...
He joins Rosie O, Barbara Strisand, Alec Baldwin, and others on my S#%t list.
She used to think I was nuts, but now she actually brings these lefties statements to my attention.
Who else makes you'all mad, with their hipocritical treatment of honest gun owners?

I'm waiting on a NRA-jr chapter. I own a handgun and have for many years. I can't stand the thought of shooting a deer, but the thought of drilling an intruder in my home doesn't bother me.

How well is your files protected from the Democratic presidents?
Ever thought about that? Couldn't a weenie liberal government like the Clinton years have the post office scan the bar codes of all magazines and have a list of only 4 million gun owners?
