Hey I'm new here so far I think this is an awesome site. I'm thinking about buying a 79 2wd long bed. Body wise its a lot better shape then the last old fords I have owned. I'm wanting to start the project by lowering it as much as I can without bags. I have enough vehicles with bags. Anyways I was wondering where I can get drop beams and a kit to lower the back. Also I'm wanting a set of 20s or 22s does anyone have any ideas on a backspace or anything so they will tuck for when I aventualy do build a custom frame. Any info or pics would be awesome
Also I am thinking about a fuel injection kit. The truck has a 302 in it. Do any of you guys have any sugestions on a kit. I'm wanting to make this my everyday driver and want to make sure it starts and runs good in the winter

I see no reason to switch to injection unless you want to. A good tuned carb starts and runs good in the winter.
