when you did the install how did you install it? The timing gears position is critical and if it lost its timing it wont be doing anything right. You are getting fuel to the injection pump like you said so the problem lies within the pump or timing. Did you remove the ip timing gear housing? if so how was it installed to proper timing? Were all the marks lined up? Have you cracked all the lines at the injectors to help the system rid itself of air. When you get the fuel sorted out then we can work on the spark plugs! hhaha.
and there seems to be a lot of blow by if thats a factor
the blow by on these seems to be bad but they puff even when brand new. In good condition they will puff smoke but when you rev the engine it will pull those gasses back into the crank case. If they continue to puff out when revving the engine, it might be the CDR is in need of a service, or it is worn out. service the cdr first.
You need to turn the key on and get to the ip, pull off the clip that is on top right and closest to the radiator. you should hear a click when you re attach it try it a few times. You might not have power to the Fuel shut off switch. That will hurt things a lot!!!

i didnt spin the motor with the pump off at all so i just lined up the pump to the front gear part and dropped it in, all 8 lines are not connected currently as i was hoping to at least bleed them and put them on
id install the lines and then just leave them loose at the injuector. When you are checking to see if fuel is getting to the filter and pump, are you just cranking it over with hoses un hooked? When you pull the filter is it full of fuel? How about the line heading from the filter to the injection pump, is guel getting to the ip? check that fuel shutoff switch before anything else though. if its spinning and getting hot with just cranking it is probably dry which leads me to believe it is not letting fuel through. do you see fuel smoke out of the tail pipe when cranking it over?
Regardless if the pump timing is off, you should still get fuel out the injector lines, just not at the right time.
Like others have stated ensure the IP is getting fuel to it.
Ensure the FSS clicks when the key is turned on. (or like stated, turn key on and disconnect the forward (towards front of truck) most connector on the IP and reconnect listening for a click)
Put all your injector lines on leaving ONE loose for fuel delivery inspection. Bleeding is moot, it'll bleed itself in a few turns of the motor.
Test the lift pump pressure and flow, about 4-6 lbs and 1/3 pint in 10 seconds of cranking.
