I think ideally I would like to be able to get everything, but I suspect I can only do that with software like AE. With the Insight it would be nice if it will read codes related to injectors, FICM, ERG, or boost. I know you are a real fan of the AE software, and I definatly what to go that rout, but its just not in the cards right now. I am mostly looking at trying to get some answers as to what I can expect for the code reading abilities of the Insight.

The Insight should be enough for you. It'll pull from the general powertrain and enhanced powertrain modules and that should give you the codes that well let you know whereabout to go to look for issues. In other words, there might be something in the general and/or enhanced powertrain that shows up on the computer that leads you to the right direction, but there also might be a code in another module that is more specific.
