Oil Temp Sensor reading
I'm not getting a reading on my oil temp sensor on my scan gauge anymore.
I just removed my chip for a reburn and had the batteries unplugged.
Now no oil temp on scangauge....
anyone have any ideas?

I've unplugged the batteries a few times without this issue.
Thats why I'm puzzled.
Even unplugged the scan gauge to reset it. No idea if the sensor is even reading.
No meter to test it.

So, are you saying that not unplugging it killed my sensor? :P

I'm saying that the manual for the scan gauge, under precautions states to make sure that the gauge is unplugged b-4 disconnecting the batteries to prevent damage to the gauge.
Last page, I think it is #13.
Your call to not unplug, but damage to the gauge could have happened.

not the scanguage II.... we use aeroforce scanguages(they make termy's guages too).
you could always get a good scanner on the truck and see if the scanner gives you an oil temp reading... i have a feeling you may have messed up the SG..
