i would love to know the same thing.my manual box is bad(gears are just worn down) and the guy at oreillys put the truck in the comp as a 2wd 6 cyl. well turns out 2wd trucks have the box in the inside of the frame and i have yet to find a 4x4 with power steering.no junkyards here in oh even have trucks from back then so finding parts is nearly imposible.

I have a 75 F-100 4x4. The power steering it had was with a manual type box but had a ram power cylinder for the power assist. From what I have seen and read, ford didn't put regular power steering on the 4x4 trucks till 76. Then the steering setup is different though. I put a 79 bronco power box on mine but had to have a different worm gear put in so it would turn the correct way. Opposite. There is a write up for this in the articles section if you are interested.

2x with Dirt racer. Also did the Bronco swap which is pretty much the same as a 76 4x4 - Less hoses, fittings, and potential leaks. It's awesome.
