Very Cool Video

I hope this isn't a re-post. I was really struck by this video. From what I understand, the guy wasn't hired to do this, but did it because its important to him.

Anyway, its short and really very well done and carries an important message!

Buckle up!!!

Cool! I have always worn my belt, even before it was the law.

i have not gotten into a vehicle without seatbelts since 1982 when i broke my neck after hitting the roof with my head in an accident in a truck without seatbelts.

I've been responding to auto accidents for nearly twenty years. When you see first hand the results of not wearing one you'll never not put one on.

I have always been adamant about everybody wearing their seatbelt, even on quick trips down the block.

One thing that would get me so angry when my kids were growing up was when other parents would 'double belt' kids in their cars when they didn't have enough belts to go around.

I still scratch my head at the fools who make the argument that they don't strap-in because they don't want to get 'trapped' in a bad collision and burn up in a fire........

I don't have the exact numbers, but I'm guessing that maybe 1 person was killed BECAUSE they were wearing a seatbelt for every 1000 persons killed who were not.

I had a cousin get killed 21 years ago at a stinking intersection......low speed....one car hit another car, which hit HIS pickup truck while he was turning, causing it to fall over on it's side. He was NOT wearing his seatbelt and was thrown, suffering head injuries which put him into a coma, flatlined his brain, and killed him. This stupid low-speed accident would have been a walk-away-from had he been wearing his seat belt. I doubt he would have even suffered any injury at all.

21 years ago, and he was 21. What a f--king waste!
