Here is my Excursion, and I'm looking for all the cheap cool things to do to it. I have already done the fog light trick, but as you can see I have the look but now need the attuide to go with it. How can I lft it on the cheap? Any help and advise would be great.

[quote=QUIKKER347;9037841]Any help and advise would be great./quote] Welcome to the Ex Forum.

Nice paint job - First impression is of a freshly released crop of spermatozoa racing to be first to the egg.

Cheapest thing to help out the longevity of the outer finish - lose the roof rack bars - looks as if the roof utility bars are still in place - difficult to see for sure in the angle of the picture.

The stock bars are pretty much worthless for anything, and just riding in place with nothing on them will scratch and degrade the paint underneath.

My recommendation would be to remove them permanently.

Funny you sat that because everyone at work says the the same thing about the paint. Thanks for the advise on the roof rack, yep it is still up there.

You can implement a internet connection into the vehicle

I did this by purchasing a cradlepoint ctr500 CTR500 Mobile Broadband Router | Cradlepoint Technology and then a laptop card from at&t AT&T USBConnect Velocity | AT&T wireless servicesthen mounted it with zip ties in the rear tire jack access panel and had the power from the rear lighter.

Cost for this is $60 a month for the connection, $400 for the laptop card, around $200 for the router.

In terms of the cost, its about the same as a roof rack or cow catcher. My theory is if you can afford the fuel to power this engine then $60 aint bad lol, of course it only takes me 3 mins to get to work so not much of a commute.
