Seats help

My recomendation to you , is to check your local auto recycling centers, and see what they have in stock. You can also try www.car-part.com , which is a national database for auto recyclers ///// www.EbayMotors.com Type in SuperDuty seats. Sometimes members on here will want to swap with you.
Measure out your bolt pattern / patterns. The superduty trucks are very easy seats to change out. On my 2009 there is only the electrical hookup on my drivers side for the electric fabric seat that that came with the truck.
No airbag wiring , at least on my xlt. Therefore no air bag classification weight sensors or airbags in the front seats. It has the airbag key switch on the dash. Only the driver's side seat belt has the wiring for verification, that your seat belt is on. " 2 wires - Black / white" . Whatever drivers seat you get, this will have to be wired into the trucks Black / white wires. "Very easy"
I sold my entire seat setup to the recycling yard. Actualy did the seat swap right there.
Do a search on here. Type in SuperDuty Seats. Myself and many FTE Members on here did rightups on here regarding this subject. As I mentioned it can be done, but do your research. Some members told me on here that certain cab configurations could have a slightly different bolt pattern, Crew cab vs Reg cab. You would have to drill a few holes in the floor of your truck.
The SuperDuty seats are heavy, especially the bench seat.
If you stick to the SuperDuty Family, you will have better luck with the bolt patterns. F150 seats do not fit unless you weld up your own brackets.
If you get power seats, you will have to use one of the blunt wires from under the drivers side pannel , run a direct wire "fused" to the battery. Some SuperDuty Trucks come pre-wired, pull your carpet up and double check.
If you have any questions write back.
P.S.- If you are buying seats where you can not see them in person, make sure that person gives you the cross measurements from his seats, to confirm they will fit.

FWIW, I measured the holes for a rear crew cab seat, and it's identical to a front bench. Only problem is a rear seat wouldn't slide like a front seat.
