Dropped my e4od pan

Found no magnet in the pan. No metal either. Just dirty oil. I'm wondering if its been serviced before. The pan gasket was felt/paper. Is this the factory gasket? Is the line that goes to the sump the return line from the cooler? I think it has to be.

No magnet --- the pan has been off. Ford used only cork or reusable rubber gaskets. The return line from the cooler is on the rear of the transmission and provides lube to the rear gears in the tranny before returning to the pan.
