my 96 ranger splash with 2.3 and m50dr1 trans .the m50dr1 trans blew up.will the bed from my splash fit on a regular ranger.im running out of options.

Yes it will fit, you will need a different filler neck though

the 246.00 splash filler from ford .or do i have to make a custom filler.now i have to find a cheap regular ranger in my area.i live 25 miles from kingman.

You just need the filler neck that goes with the new bed

a friend sold me his 96 splash with a blown engine for 4000.00 on payments.it has a good trans and a good body.and a good fuel filler hose.
i can keep it at his house and take parts any time i want.i didnt think it was going to cost this much to fix my splash .after i fix mine i will never buy another splash they cost too much to fix.
this is not meant as a insult to ranger splash owners.
back in the day i bought studebaker parts for far less.
if that makes me a dinosauor then so be it.
dinosaurs forever.
