still having steering problems?
So I started out first adjusting the steering gear, which helped a little. I just replaced all four ball joints and both tie rod ends. The previous owner replaced the center link about 25K ago. I picked the truck up after an alignment and it still doesnt feel right. It doesnt feel like it wants to track straight, theres a lot of play and it almost feels like its bump steering after slight wheel movements either way. With the truck parked there is play in both wheels moving 3 and 9 oclock without moving the steering wheel. I have searched every steering post I can find and I am almost out of ideas. Could my steering gear be worn or is there another part I'm missing that could be worn. BTW 00 7.3l 2wd and all parts replaced were Moog.
