Wiring Harness

Any one built a wiring harness for their truck? I know I found the manual that was listed in some other threads, around $7 or 8 bucks. Just curious as to how difficult it is to build one. My 65 is a rats nest, but I refuse to fork out the dough they are looking for new ones.

any thoughts

I've seen aftermarket deals for $150 ish... not sure if it'd be worth it to me to start from scratch. Unless you have access to different colored wires for cheap....

Time equals money.

180 bucks for an entire new modern harness is expensive? Four hours of labor alone in head scratching eats that up.

Can your check a local salvage yard for a better OEM harness?
I'm in the same boat with a 64 model. But its alittle different set-up than a 65-66 style.
