Ahhh.. Good to know its not that expensive of a part to replace!
I would take mine into the stealership, lol, but I am very certain they wont touch mine with a 10-foot pole due to VIN not matching up with whats under the hood. I have travelled that road in the past regarding other vehicle I completed swaps in. If its not what came in the vehicle from the factory, they wont replace a recall.
Ken Payne introduced some software here years ago where all you have to do is say Ed, or Ed the parts guy, or FTE parts guy, and he'll miraculously show up here in a day or so.
Of course being a parts guy, he'll ask you for your vin number and year make model and stuff like that, so you might just be better off sending him a PM for the correct part number. Ford Truck Enthusiasts Forums - View Profile: partsguyed.com

so I suppose is the same recall we are talking about, right?
The problem is that if you want or need further assitance, you have to cantact a Ford customer support, with any other questions you may have, but its only available in USA and in Canada, and I live in Mexico

Ed, thanks for the info, that number is the same for all the trucks, and of course for mine? or do you need my VIN. If so Im going to order you one ASAP.
there are a few different ones but those I think are for the explorers and other cars/trks
always best to send vin to be sure....
I think you are dead on right about that one! Now that I remember back, earlier last year I got a letter in the mail from Ford about a recal done on my Explorer (1995). I took it in to the dealership, they replaced their recall part.. It did have to do with fires and CC... I never thought to put the two together LOL!
