Hi! I have a 2001 F-150 XLT 4x4 and my electrical system went haywire during a recent spring storm! When I started reading posts from others who had the same problem, I realized it was a bad GEM! I just had the front window resealed and was told that it was leaking from the top corner on drivers side! Now I replaced the module with a brand new one from dealer and everything seems to be back to normal except the fog lights! I also noticed that when traveling on highway at 65 MPH, the tach seems to read higher for that same speed(maybe just my imagination?)than i remember it reading by about 200 rpm's!! Can anyone tell me why everything came back to normal but the fog lamps? I also checked the mini fuse under the hood and that is fine!! Thanks! I appreciate all that can help!!

Reason: punctuation
These are stock foglights that came from the factory! They worked fine before the rain event, so I would think the wiring would be fine! I'm trying to avoid taking to the dealer. Is this something only the dealer can take care of?
When you pull the headlite switch out, does the extra lite in the switch light?
The headlites must be in the low beam position with the control lever, to light the fogs.
If not, there is a fuse and a relay to test out.
These circuits are seperate so a fault does not take everything out.
Voltmeter is your friend!
Good luck.

Thanks you guys John and Bluegrass, Problem solved!! I feel like a real dumb *ss! I checked the fuse in the power Distribution Box and that was fine but little did I know that there was another fuse in the fuse panel inside for the relay (5 amp) which was bad! I'm so stupid sometimes!!
Anyway thanks for your time!! It is much appreciated!!
