Alliant energy dug into my yard to expose a buried power line. Hole is about 2ft deep and has a foot of water standing in it. I can't believe that the water table is only 1ft down in the middle of august.

on feed lines like to a single family house or small businesss gas, elec and phone is 18". They tell me that to feed to my garage from the house I only have to be 12" down even with direct bury line, for personal electric (I believe I will be down 18" and in a conduit)
