Good morning Iowa, welcome to Summer!!

Summer it is, just fear that the faucet will be turned clear off but we sure could use some dry days.

Went to Rathbun last weekend and the lake is so high you had to jack knife the trailer into the water at the top of the boat ramp because there wasn't enough room to actually line the truck and trailer up between the water line and the curb at the top of the ramp.

Rathbun is 18ft over normal right now.

I would imagine probably about every lake around is.. You know it is bad when even South Dakota has regular flooding problems too...

go for landmark in williamsburg, since I hardly get to take a weekend day off, I could still see everybody. unfortunately my truck would not be there, as I've had no time to work on it between work and my newest purchase, a house.

Maybe I will have to come see you sometime... I tend to work a lot of weekends as well though.

Late morning, but morning all the same! Hopefully a bit cooler and less humid, just stormy... I stayed up late last night trying to get some things done, thinking it might be cooler... Boy was I wrong!

It is much nicer today, just went for a walk outside. Temps in the upper 70's, and not so humid!
